About Me

Hello, I’m Todd Blacksher, and I just started my latest adventure with Solid Design & Detail.

Bio – 

I have been working in the manufacturing industry for over 32 years. My journey has taken me from high-volume screw machine parts and injection molding for the cellular communications industry to custom interiors for corporate and personal aircraft to water distillation and automated bottling systems to working for a SOLIDWORKS reseller to precision laboratory testing equipment for the baking industry and high-end metal artwork. The last 15 years have been at contract manufacturers that specialize in sheet metal cutting, forming, welding, powder-coating, and machined components. Most recently, I was working with robotics – designing and 3D printing custom end of arm tooling, and using SOLIDWORKS Remote Robot Programmer to generate programs for robots running the press brakes.
